Summary

Import Agent 6.03 was released with Laserfiche 7 compatability. However, it did not allow the use of shared connections. Visit the Laserfiche FTP site and download an updated version of lfapicom61.dll, which allows Import Agent to share its connection.

Workaround

Download an updated version of lfapicom61.dll.

Note: In order for Import Agent to share connections, lfapicom61.dll must be version 6.1.0.9 or later. You can check the file version by viewing the file's properties.

To update lfapicom61.dll

1. Click here to download LFAPICOM61.dll.
2. Replace the existing file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFAPI.
3. Manually register the new LFAPICOM61.dll file.
   1. Click Start and click Run.
   2. Type the following to register the LFAPICOM61.dll.

      regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFAP\lfapicom61.dll

   3. Click OK.
