Summary

There are changes to table formats and stored procedures between Laserfiche 7.0 and Laserfiche 7.0.1. The Laserfiche Repository Upgrade Utility updates any existing Laserfiche 7.0 repositories for use with Laserfiche 7.0.1.

To update existing Laserfiche 7.0 repositories

  1. Click Start, point to All Programs, Laserfiche, and then click Laserfiche Repository Upgrage utility.
  2. Under the Repositories to upgrade option, mark the checkboxes next to the repositories you wish to update for Laserfiche 7.0.1.
  3. Under the Database Authentication Information option, select the type of authentication you wish to use to log into the DBMS.
  4. Click Upgrade to perform the upgrade process on the selected repositories.

Note: The Laserfiche Repository Upgrade utility is not installed during fresh installations of the Laserfiche Server. If you uninstalled your Laserfiche 7.0 Server prior to running the Laserfiche 7.0.1 Server installation, you can force the installation to install the utility by running the setup from a command prompt with the following command line argument: /v"ADDLOCAL= UpgradeReg"
