Summary

This article documents known issues with the Laserfiche 7.0.1 Server.

More Information

Laserfiche Server Known Issues:

  • The 7.0.1 installation expects the installation package to be located in the same path where the original installation package was located. This means that you should install from the same CD-ROM drive you used for the original installation. (16825)
  • A search cannot be cancelled. (13655)
  • The LaserFiche Server and the Server service will not shut down if any process (i.e. Laserfiche Client, Web Access, WebLink, etc...) is still connected to the Laserfiche Server. If this occurs on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, then you should use the Windows task manager and remove the Server process. This is a larger issue on Windows 2000, as you will have to open up Visual Studio .NET, attach the process, then stop the process. (11501)
  • The Laserfiche Server may become unstable if documents are imported while Microsoft SQL Server is running a scheduled job. (8572)
