1000722 Reinstalling the Laserfiche Client Necessitates Reinstalling Laserfiche Plus.

  • Laserfiche Plus cannot be started if you have multiple open Laserfiche Client instances. If you attempt to publish from a workstation with multiple open Laserfiche Client instances, you will be prompted to first close the other Client instances.
  • If a Laserfiche instance of SQL Server (MSDE) has not been previously installed, users that do not have administrative privileges cannot view a published database. The installation of MSDE, which is mandatory for viewing a published database, requires administrative privileges for the current Windows user. (10345)
  • Laserfiche Plus requires .NET Framework during the activation and deactivation process. The Plus installation program installs .NET Framework 1.1 if .NET is not already installed. However, if after the installation, you uninstall .NET Framework, you will encounter an error when you run the Laserfiche Product Activation Wizard. Reinstall .NET Framework 1.1 to resolve this problem. Run the dotnetfx.exe file located on the Plus installation CD to install .NET Framework 1.1.
  • Publishing a folder does not record any Export events in the Audit log. (16508)
  • Publishing a folder does not prompt the user for a reason for the export. (16509)
