Summary

On computers using Windows 2000, the Laserfiche Administration Console cannot select multiple items.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in the Laserfiche Administration Console included with Laserfiche 7.1 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche.

More Information

Windows 2000 includes Microsoft Management Console (MMC) 1.2. However, MMC 1.2 does not support multi-selection.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Using a Windows 2000 computer, load the Laserfiche Administration Console.
2. Log into a desired Laserfiche repository.
3. Expand the Users and Groups node.
4. Click the Users node.
5. Make sure you have at least two user accounts listed.
6. Attempt to select both user accounts. You will be unable to do so.
7. Repeat the previous steps using a computer with Windows XP or Windows Server 2003. You will be able to select more than one user account.
