Summary

Quick Fields sessions create a temporary folder to store processed documents before the documents are sent to the LaserFiche repository. If the documents are successfully sent, Quick Fields will remove all the temporary files from the temporary folder.

The temporary folder is created in the same location as where the session is saved. Temporary folders are named "QFx" where "x" is a multiple-digit hexadecimal number. Quick Fields stores images, OCR text, field data, and any other information set by Quick Fields processes before sending the document to LaserFiche. After successfully sending the processed documents to LaserFiche, Quick Fields removes the sent documents from the temporary folder. If desired, you can remove any empty temporary folders. Quick Fields will automatically create a new one the next time the session is run.

Warning: Be aware that if you remove a Quick Fields temporary folder containing files, you will lose data processed by a Quick Fields session.
