This article details how to update expired temporary licenses with new licenses for many LaserFiche products.
The following contains a listing of different LaserFiche products and the appropriate method for replacing expired temporary licenses with new licenses.
- LaserFiche client: Place the new license files in the installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFW.
- LaserFiche E-mail plug-in: Place the new lf.lic file in the E-mail Plug-in installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFW\plugins\Email. Place
the lfa.lic file in the Client installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFW.
- LaserFiche Snapshot: Place the new lf.lic file in the Snapshot installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFW\plugins\Snapshot. Place the lfa.lic
in the Client installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFW.
- LaserFiche Server: Place the new lf.lic file in the LaserFiche Server installation folder and then restart the LaserFiche Server. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LFS.
- LaserFiche Import Agent: Place the new lf.lic file in the Import Agent installation folder. The default location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\LaserFiche Import Agent.
- LaserFiche Quick Fields: Remove Quick Fields and rerun the installation program. Be aware that you will also need to reinstall any previously installed add-ons.
- LaserFiche WebLink: Place the new lf.lic file and the .con connection file in the WebLink installation folder and then restart the World Wide Web Publishing service. The default
location is C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\WebLink.
- LaserFiche Web Access: Place the new lf.lic file and the .con connection file in the Web Access installation folder and then restart the World Wide Web Publishing service.
