Summary

When you attempt to log into the Laserfiche repository, you may receive the following error message:

The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

Cause

MSDART.DLL is a key Windows component. This file may be corrupted.

Resolution 1

Obtain a working copy of MSDART.DLL.

To update MSDART.DLL

1. Locate the current copy of MSDART.DLL. This file should be located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
2. Obtain a copy of the MSDART.DLL file from another functioning workstation.
3. Rename the old .DLL file and copy over the new MSDART.DLL.
4. Restart the computer.

Resolution 2

Reinstall the latest version of MDAC.

1. Visit the Microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.as px?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&DisplayLang=en
2. Follow the instructions to download and install the latest version of MDAC.
