Summary

When you attempt to install the LaserFiche Client, you may receive the following error message:

Unable to get reference to LFLIC.ocx. This setup will now terminate.

Resolution

Manually register LFLIC.ocx. This file can be found in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\LaserFiche\System\ folder.

To manually register LFLIC.ocx:

1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. Use the regsvr32 command to register the file. Type the following:

   regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\LaserFiche\System\LFLIC.ocx"

3. Click OK.
