Summary

Uninstalling Quick Fields 6.2, reinstalling Quick Fields 6.1, then upgrading to Quick Fields 6.2 may give you the following error when starting Quick Fields:

Cause

The Quick Fields executable is not registered.

Resolution

Manually register the Quick Fields executable:

1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. Browse to the location where you installed Quick Fields and then select QFContainer.exe.
3. Type in a space and /r following the path. This parameter registers QFContainer.exe. The Run dialog box should look similar to the following:

   "C:\Program Files\LaserFiche\Quick Fields\QFContainer.exe" /r

4. Click OK.

Note: After performing these steps, there will be no indication that the Quick Fields executable has been registered. However, the script error should no longer appear when using Quick Fields.
