Summary

You cannot install ScanConnect with your LaserFiche Client installation CD without a separate ScanConnect installation CD.

Cause

The LaserFiche Scanning installation provides a choice to use the ISIS scanning interface. The ISIS scanning interface requires ScanConnect. However, ScanConnect is not included on the LaserFiche Client/Server installation CDs. ScanConnect is a distinct product that is purchased separately.

Workaround

If you do not have ScanConnect, you may select from two other interfaces. During the LaserFiche Scanning installation, you may choose a different scanning setup other than ISIS. If your document scanner provides driver support for Kofax or TWAIN, you may select either of those two scanning interfaces instead of using ISIS and ScanConnect.
