Summary
Due to changes to the path variable, the Client installation requires restarting the computer.
Resolution
Upgrade to LaserFiche 6.11. On computers running Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003, the Client installation no longer requires restarting the computer.
Note: If you have other LaserFiche products installed, there may be a common file updated during the Client installation that is in use by another product. The file is locked during use and can require a computer restart before changes take place.
More Information
This fix does not affect computers using Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME. Client installations on these computers will still require restarting the computer after the installation.
