Summary

When you use a Fujitsu 4120C to scan in color, you may receive the following error message:

JPEG Compression Error [60834]

Cause

This is a known issue with the LFWISISN.exe file released with ScanConnect 6.0 and there is a fix available on the Laserfiche FTP site.

Resolution

This issue can be fixed by updating a file used by the Laserfiche Client (LFWISISN.exe).

To update the scanning component:

1. Click here to download LFWISISN.zip.
2. Extract the archive and replace the existing LFWISISN.exe file with the downloaded one. The LFWISISN.exe file is located in your Laserfiche Client installation folder. By default, the folder is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\LFW.
