The Audit Trail Login page does not list any databases.
There are two possible causes for this issue:
- There are missing registry keys. See Resolution 1.
- The LaserFiche Audit Trail Monitor service does not have sufficient Windows rights to access the database. See Resolution 2.
Manually add the needed keys to the Windows registry.
To edit the Windows registry:
- From the computer hosting LaserFiche Audit Trail, click Start and then select Run.
- Open the Windows registry editor by typing in the following in the Run dialog box:
regedt32
- Browse to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LASERFICHE\WorkflowSuite\Database.
- From the Edit menu, select New and click Key.
- Type in the name of the database.
- Make sure that the new key is selected.
- From the Edit menu, select New and click String Value.
- Name the string value "ServerName".
- Double-click the new string value and set the value as the name of the computer hosting LaserFiche Audit Trail.
- Repeat steps 6-7 to create a second string value for the database key.
- Name the string value "ServerType".
- Double-click the new string value and set the value as "NT".
- Repeat steps 3 and 4.
- Name this key AuditTrailMonitor. You do not have to create values for this key.
