Summary

A document will not be imported when running LFAssist when the current user does not have the Create right on the root folder of the database and Snapshot has been configured to send documents to a fixed path. Documents will appear to be imported, but they will not be created. There are two workarounds to correct this issue.

Workaround 1

Give the user the Import feature right and the Create access right on the root folder of the database.

Workaround 2

Under the Destination tab of the LaserFiche Snapshot Configuration dialog box, mark the Use a path relative to the currently open folder option. Before running LFAssist, browse to a folder for which the current user has the Import feature right. If a path has been specified under the Path option in the LaserFiche Snapshot Configuration dialog box and that path does not already exist in the currently opened folder, then the current user will need to also have the Create access right.
