Summary
In rare situations, copying the volume folder to another hard disk may result in a silent failure. The copy or move procedure may look successful, but the destination copy may lack branches of the original volume directory structure.

Workaround
Do not use the Move function as there may be no quick method to recover any lost data. After copying the volume folder to the destination drive, check the file size of the destination folder versus the file size of the original folder. If the destination folder is smaller in size, check for what is missing in the destination volume folder and copy the missing branches from the original to the destination.
