Summary
When multiple workstations simultaneously scan or import to the same volume, images or pages from one workstation can sometimes overwrite the image captured by another workstation or the image could be omitted from the document. This issue can result in missing pages.
Resolution
Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, Notebook, or Plus version 6.03 or higher.
Additionally, install LaserFiche Server version 6.03 or higher.
More Information
If an image was overwritten, then the documents in question would end up pointing to the same page. If an image was omitted from a document, then error 6562 would be generated and the document would contain a missing page.
This issue first arose in LaserFiche version 6.0. If you suspect that your documents have been affected by this issue, then you should use the LaserFiche Page Integrity Repair utility to find and repair those documents. This utility will seek out these type of documents and then make them whole again. Unfortunately, the images that have been overwritten cannot be recovered. However, you may use this utility to view the affected LaserFiche documents. This will allow you to manually update documents with newly scanned images from within the LaserFiche Client.
