Summary
Advanced Audit Trail adds additional capabilities to the Basic Audit Trail module. In addition to the events captured by Basic Audit Trail, Advanced Audit Trail also tracks additional events. The following table lists what events are tracked by both products:

More Information
Both the Basic Audit Trail module and the Advanced Audit Trail module are web-based XML applications. All administration functions are performed through a web browser.
In addition to editing which events are logged, other administration functions include editing logging levels for different users, setting up archival capabilities for old logs, and a report generator.
Note: Basic Audit Trail and Advanced Audit Trail require Internet Explorer 5 or later. Other browsers are not supported.
Note: Basic Audit Trail captures the same events as the original Audit Trail module.
