Folders Whose Names Contain a Backslash (\) are Unsupported.

Laserfiche 6, Plus 6, Scanning 6

Summary

LaserFiche allows a user to create folder names that contain a backslash (\). However, this can cause issues because the backslash character can act as a delimiter for parts of the path.

Workaround

Rename any folders so that the name no longer contains a backslash. A folder can be renamed through the LaserFiche Client or Standalone.

More Information

The LaserFiche Client allows you to name folders and documents with a backslash. This issue arises when other LaserFiche products attempt to retrieve entries from the LaserFiche database. Because the backslash acts as a delimiter for parts of the path, other products cannot correctly browse for the affected items.
