Date Format Display Issue.

March 12, 2004 | KB: 100034
Laserfiche 6, Plus 6

Summary

Whenever the Window's Short Date format is set to report a two digit year, date fields would display years above 1999 as 00xx. For example, the year 2000 would be reported as 0000.

Resolution

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, Plus, or Viewer version 6.03 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.03 or higher.

Note: If you do not wish to upgrade LaserFiche, then you should refer to the workaround.

More Information

This issue was initially fixed in version 6.01.

Workaround

Modify the Window's Short Date Format so that it displays a four digit year. This procedure must be performed from the computer on which the LaserFiche database resides.
