Summary

Exporting a briefcase with the Exclude text files option would create placeholders for any pages in the document that had previously contained text. Importing this type of briefcase would replace those placeholders with empty text files.

Workaround

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, Plus, or Viewer version 6.03 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.03 or higher.

More Information

Excluding text from a briefcase will no longer create empty text pages when the briefcase is imported. However, LaserFiche will need to be upgraded prior to exporting the briefcase.

This issue was initially fixed in version 6.01.
