Summary

This article lists the known issues that may occur during an installation/uninstallation of Quick Fields 6.2:

1. Quick Fields may not uninstall correctly in Windows 98. See Workaround 1.
2. A new installation of Quick Fields on Windows 98 may generate an error when the application is being loaded. See Workaround 2.
3. Installing or uninstalling Quick Fields on a Windows NT workstation may cause the installation to fail. See Workaround 3.

Workaround 1

If the uninstallation of LaserFiche Quick Fields does not complete, you should try uninstalling it again.

Workaround 2

If this error occurs, then you should uninstall Quick Fields and then reinstall it. After reinstalling, Quick Fields should load normally.

Workaround 3

A workaround for this issue is to delete the following directory: Common Files\lnstallShield\Engine\6\lntel 32. After deleting this directory, run the installation program from the LaserFiche Quick Fields installation CD.
