Summary
A database cannot be attached to a LaserFiche Server, when the version of the LaserFiche Server differs from the version of the LaserFiche Server in use and the database files have been assigned read-only status.
Workaround
A workaround for this issue is to remove the read-only status from the database files. If the database is on a CD, then the database will need to be copied to a local drive before read-only status can be removed.
More Information
The LaserFiche Server may need to update stored procedures when attaching a database written with an older version of the LaserFiche Server. This cannot be performed when the database files are read-only.
