If the path to a volume contains non-Latin characters, then it cannot be attached to a LaserFiche database.

Workaround

When specifying a fixed or removable volume path, always make sure that you use Latin characters. You should also make sure that you do not use characters that are not supported by the Windows file system. These character include, but are not limited by the following list: \ / : * ? " < > |
